SEGA confirmed today that Alpha Protocol will be available in retail stores in on 28th May 2010 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
With a plot "torn from today’s headlines and more twists than a blockbuster movie", Alpha Protocol is aiming to combine modern day realism with the world of RPGs. Players take on the role of rookie spy Michael Thornton and work to uncover the perpetrators behind a missile attack on a passenger jetliner, whilst encountering a range of characters and locations.
“Alpha Protocol offers a new take on the RPG genre giving players the chance to immerse themselves in the world of modern day espionage,” said Gary Knight, European Marketing Director of SEGA Europe. “Being the first ever RPG in this setting, Obsidian have written a truly immersive storyline with a cast of characters everyone will remember.”
